Shopping Berlin and Hotel information

Hi from me as well!

I wonder if there are shopping bargains in Berlin. I am particularly interested in sportswear and ski equpment. Has anyone of you ever bought something of the kind? Is it worth looking for bargains and carrying such stuff or should I abandon the whole idea?

Another thing i would like to ask is whether anyone has stayed in Radisson Sas Berlin. If yes, were you satisfied? Could you give me some information about the area? Is it lively? Are there shops, restaurants, bars at night? is the transportation convenient? Are there direct links from/to Schoenefeld airport? Thanks in advance.I am waiting for your answer.
