Travel

Hi,

I am due to be staying in the Centre Parcs village at Het Heijderbos village and would like to visit either Efteling amusement park or Warner Brothers Movie World.

Can I do this by using Trains or a bus

Also how easy would it be to visit a big city like Eindhoven Brugges or Amsterdam

Thanks.

Sorry, but I missed your contribution and just found it by fortune.

I suppose that you have already made your trip but if not I would suggest to post your question in any Netherland forum.

Warner Brothers Movie World is in Bottrop/Kirchhellen (Germany) but all the other mentioned cities and areas are in the Netherlands.

Maybe you could book a day trip by bus to de Efteling or Movie World, there are always many busses from everywhere.

Did you manage your visits in those cities and Parks from the Netherlands?

French Restaurants: Dressler or Brasserie Desbrosses?

Hello,

I want to visit Berlin between 31st January and 3rd February and eat dinner in one of these French Restaurants. Which one would you recommend and why : Dressler (www.restaurant-dressler.de) or Brasserie Desbrosses (www.desbrosses.de)? Has anybody of the forum%26#39;s users been to these restaurants? I know that Dressler is more popular among tourists. Desbrosses is in the Ritz Carlton and is a bit more expensive than Dressler.

I have not been to Debrosses but I have to both Dresslers many times(20+) I like both but the food is a little better in the Ku%26#39;damm branch. They have a nice relaxed atmosphere, freindly staff and good fairly simple food, esp steaks or lamb

You probably have travelled by now, and I would love to read your experience, which you chose and what you thought.

My husband and I had lunch at Brasserie Desbrosses, and found the food quite satisfactory -- but not outstanding, and the service was excellent.

We were unhappily surprised, though, because we ordered a bottle of water (0.75 cl) for the table, and also three Cokes (in 0.2 cl bottle), and these drinks added 50 Euros to our bill!
